not comfortable merging this until 26.04 LTS comes out properly because 24.04 LTS still defaults to clang 18 which is too old for geode |

ubuntu 26.04 is out now but a linux mint version based on this is only set to release in december 2026. once that's out every major debian based distro should finally ship with clang 19 by default which is the absolute minimum you can currently use for geode mods |

decided to merge because mint's cmake is too old anyway so i'll just append a note |
